Africa Barnhill
Africa Barnhill is a Holistic Esthetician, Wellness Educator, and Founder of Evolution Skincare and Wellness and Evolution Skincare and Wellness University—a transformative brand dedicated to refining beauty through wellness.
Her journey into holistic healing began at just 17 years old after being diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Faced with chronic discomfort and uncertainty, Africa took her healing into her own hands—diving deep into herbalism, essential oils, nutrition, and the impact of environmental factors on the body. What began as a personal mission to restore her health evolved into a life’s calling.
Through years of research and experimentation, Africa began formulating natural bath and body products rooted in plant-based healing. This passion gave birth to her first brand, Sweet Herbal Scentations, where she created chemical-free skincare alternatives designed to support the body rather than disrupt it.
Driven to expand her impact, Africa pursued formal education at The Aveda Institute of Chapel Hill in 2008. After years of hands-on experience working within the spa industry, she founded Evolution Skincare and Wellness, LLC in 2015—a space where clinical skin correction meets holistic healing.
